General information

What means of payment are accepted?
Cash, credit and debit card payments (except American Express).

Are dogs allowed?
You are welcome to take your four-legged friend with you to the Visitor Center, WineLounge Bistro and Vinothek. Dogs are not allowed on the cellar tour.

Can I visit the Vinothek and the WineLounge Bistro without an admission ticket?
Yes, the vinotheque and the WineLounge Bistro are freely accessible and can be visited during opening hours without an admission ticket.

Is there WLAN in the Steininger Loisium Weinwelt?
Yes, in the visitor center you can use WLAN free of charge and download our app. There is no WLAN in the cellar.

Arrival & visit

Can I travel by public transportation?
Yes, from Langenlois train station with subsequent bus connection (regional bus 705 or 710). The nearest bus stop (Langenlois Siedlung Lange Sonne) is only a few minutes away. Route planner VOR AnachB

Yes, the Steininger Loisium Wine World is barrier-free accessible.

How far is the Steininger Loisium Weinwelt from the center of Langenlois?
Just a few minutes’ walk away on foot, by bike or by car.

Are there parking spaces on site?
Yes, there are plenty of free parking spaces available directly in front of the Steininger Loisium Weinwelt.

Are there coach parking spaces for groups?
Yes, parking spaces for buses are available.

Visit & Experience

How long does a visit to the Steininger Loisium Weinwelt take?
The tour of the cellar takes about 90 minutes. At the end of the tour, you will receive a sample (1/16) of wine or grape juice in the wine shop.

Do I need a reservation?
Reservations are not mandatory for individual visitors. Advance booking is recommended for groups or special guided tours.

Is the audio guide included in admission?
Yes, the audio guide or app is included in the admission price.

In which languages is the audio guide available?
Our audio guide is available in German, English, French and Czech.

Are there also guided tours or only audio guides?
The standard tour includes an audio guide. Guided tours with our guides are also available for groups. Please book at least 14 days in advance at erleben@steininger-weinwelt.at at least 14 days in advance.

When is the last admission?
The last admission for the cellar tour is at 4:30 pm. You will still have enough time to experience the tour and enjoy your tasting in the vinotheque.

Is the Steininger Loisium Wine World suitable for groups?
Yes, there are special offers for groups, events and team building. Please send your group request at least 14 days in advance to erleben@steininger-weinwelt.at at least 14 days in advance.

Experience on site

What is the temperature in the cellar?
The temperature in the cellar is a constant 14 °C, so warm clothing is recommended.

Is the Steininger Loisium Wine World also suitable for bad weather?
Yes, the majority of the tour takes place underground in the cellar and is therefore independent of the weather.

Can you take photos in the Steininger Loisium Wine World?

Enjoyment & offer

Are there restaurants on site?
Yes, there is the WineLounge Bistro with sandwiches and pastries, ideal for an enjoyable break before or after a wine tasting or cellar tour.

Is there an opportunity for tasting on site?
Yes, in the vinotheque you can taste wines, sparkling wines and non-alcoholic drinks and buy them at farm-gate prices.

Are there non-alcoholic alternatives to wine tasting?
Yes, we also offer non-alcoholic drinks such as grape juice or Verjus from the Steininger winery at our tastings.

Families & Children

Is the Steininger Loisium Wine World suitable for children?
Yes, there is an interactive puzzle tour with the cellar mice Frida & Fridolin especially for children.

From what age do children pay admission?
Children from the age of 7 (i.e. from their 7th birthday) pay admission to the Steininger Loisium Wine World.
