Karl Steininger: It’s not without reason that sparkling wine is traditionally made from Burgundy grape varieties internationally. The base wine was aged in large wooden barrels, fermented in the bottle, and aged on the lees for over 100 months. The goal was to bring out the wine’s richness even more—supported by a precise acidity profile and finely integrated bubbles. As it breathes, increasingly nutty nuances emerge.
